International Collaboration Fund 2025
Funded projectA Real-Time Framework for Resilient Critical Infrastructure under Cascading Multi-Hazard Risks
FUNDING TARGET
Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society
The ICF award will be used to establish a strategic international collaboration that accelerates the development of a competitive ERC proposal on resilient infrastructure systems. The collaboration will connect complementary expertise in structural health monitoring, Digital Twin technologies, and uncertainty modelling to co-develop a high-impact research agenda.
Planned activities include technical workshops, focused design sprints, and early-stage pilot studies to shape a robust conceptual framework and build a strong partnership base. This structured engagement will enable targeted alignment with Horizon Europe Cluster 3 themes, generate preliminary evidence, and consolidate multi-actor involvement. The ICF-supported activities will directly strengthen proposal readiness, enhance scientific ambition, and position the consortium to secure ERC and Horizon Europe funding.
